John D. McElhiney, In Memoriam 1955-2011
A founding partner, John D. McElhiney received his B.A. from Suffolk University in 1977 and his J.D. from Suffolk Law in 1979. He worked at McSweeney, Snow, Sheehan & Perkins from 1980 to 1983, and he worked as a city solicitor in the city of Woburn from 2010 to 2011. His memberships included:

Robert F. Matson | Founding Partner
Robert F. Matson is a founding partner and received his B.A. from Suffolk University in 1976, his M.B.A. in 1977, and his J.D. from Suffolk Law in 1980. He worked at Hill and Gibney from 1980 to 1983, and has been at McElhiney and Matson since 1982. Attorney Matson's jurisdiction and memberships include:

Margaret K. LaMothe | Partner
Margaret K. LaMothe received her B.A. from College of the Holy Cross in 1980, where she graduated Cum Laude. She received her J.D. from Boston College in 1983. She was employed at Hill and Gibney from 1984-1986, and has been with the team at McElhiney and Matson since 1986. Since 1993, she has also acted as the Present Land Court Title Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her jurisdiction and memberships include:

Samuel F. Matson | Attorney
Samuel F. Matson received his B.A. from New York University in 2010 and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School (Evening Division) in 2017, after which he began working at McElhiney and Matson. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
